Sometimes we were allowed to be a bit silly in our TV Production Class.
I went to a anime convention in Columbus, Ohio. So I used a video clip that I was recording for a music video and turned it into a Rotoscope for my intro to video production class.
Another favorite project I worked on in my Intro to Video class, this was a fun one editing jumpcuts and other playing with the different filters in Final Cut was cool experience since I had never used it before.
Honestly… I loved this class. I’m going to share with you a favorite video. We learned how to use Final Cut, Adobe Premiere. So many techniques I did not know existed.
In my Radio Production class we have been pretty busy making new projects every week. I figured I’d show off some of the work we have been working on! Here is a local favorite.
My fellow colleagues and I took some time to visit and cover the story of the Diamante Awards at Owens Community College, where University of Toledo, Lourdes, and Bowling Green State University came together to support local hispanic students in the area.
For our final project in Visual Storytelling. We were given a project to go out and find a story for Owens Community College.
I decided to go out with Owens Community College radio and check out the event called Vinylthon. Vinylthon is an event that colleges have and you can listen to old records. Well, Culture Clash Records had a line out the door for their event for their own vinyl record day. This family-owned store had business booming!
I had a lot to learn about focusing and how to plan for my video and just make it look like a documentary style. Not only that, I still have much to learn about focusing in on the subjects instead of having them look like a blur. Overall, I had a wonderful time!
